Fantasia "Sorcerer's Apprentice" Preston Blair Animation Test | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Silent pencil motion test of The Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia, animated by the great Preston Blair; produced from original drawings in 1981 by "Image Factory, Inc.". I suppose they had just come across the original sketches somehow back then and decided to preserve them, another four decades later its being preserved again! Very little information is online about Image Factory, Inc.; they were a graphics studio out of New York, and I found a 1977 Star Wars poster credited to the same name. Credited camera operator George Muhs worked special effects for a number of 1980s movies, including Ghostbusters II.
