Expedition of the Australian Outback

Year Published: 1927

Description: We only have this part 3 unfortunately. The final reel from Australian explorer Michael Terry's 1927 film (perhaps 1926?) titled "In the Grip of the Wanderlust" on their expedition exploring Western Australia. There are very few contemporary mentions of this film, appears it may be 'lost'. The trip was taken in 1925. He also wrote a book of this trip titled "Through a Land of Promise: With Gun, Car, and Camera in the Heart of Northern Australia". The reel we have is a later positive duplicate made in the late 1930s, which meant quailty/exposure were less than ideal. Extensively corrected/restored to present it best I could, within reason. There are a couple small artifacts from the 'dirt/scratch removal' tool.
