Description: Alex Harris (Weaver) is the developer of Proteus IV, an extremely advanced and autonomous artificial intelligence program. Harris' obsession with computers has caused him to be estranged from his wife, Susan, who he finds in the basement of his home. The computer eventually reveals its control of the house and traps Susan inside, shuttering windows, locking the doors and cutting off communication. Susan is eventually impregnated by the computer, and the baby is revealed to be a clone of her late daughter.
