The first reel of this series takes up with the technique of the dashes—100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters. Demonstrations are given in both regular and slow motion showing the entire technique. There is repetition of the technique of sprinting at various advantageous angles. Adjustments of sprinting form necessary for the 200 and 400 meter races are brought out. The second reel presents the hurdles and relays, showing three types of hurdling. Attention is given to the techniques of passing the baton in the relays. "Slow motion is extensively used."
