Many jobs on the dairy farm are described including getting milk to market, using separator machines, sterilizing and getting milk to the market. Many aspects of animals and economics, accounting are important. Such jobs as a feed expert are held by men who have a knowledge of dairying. Dairy plant operation, product processing and marketing offer many opportunities for trained men and women, particularly in the larger dairies. Among these are butter makers, cheese makers, laboratory testers, ice cream makers, government laboratory testers, various technicians, and dairy superintendents and managers.
