Description: "Colombia is introduced by a topographical map of the region. The religious life of the people is described in the first part of the film. Life in the capital city of Bogota describes the social position of the individuals. The working class middle class visits the shops, movies, universities and book-shops. Part two then shows the city in the extreme, showing the large population that ekes out its existence by farming or working on large farms. There are small orchards and transportation is by burro or by water. Coffee-growing and drinking are some of the chief industries of Colombia. 'Well organized.' statement made by the committee: 'that Colombia is the most democratic and the most tolerant country in Latin America was questioned by informed members of the committee.'
