It was produced by the College of home economics, Cornell university, and may be obtained from the request of a physician and is to be shown before medically trained audiences only. "Popular types of jars and lids are shown and explained in detail. Emphasis is placed on explaining what to can. Canning rhubarb and tomatoes is then illustrated by a detailed sequence showing foods being processed inside a pressure cooker is also illustrated, and in this case spinach and string beans are the products canned." "Treats methods of cleaning and conserving jars, rills and other containers which may be used for boiling water baths, and offers several short cuts for saving work in preparing all types of canning."
