It shows him wounded in battle and then ill, when he gets a vision of Jesus Christ and is absorbed with the desire to live the Sacrificial Life for him. It shows him going back to Assisi, renouncing all wealth and pomp and devoting the rest of his life to helping the poor, sick and unfortunate, so that he really exemplifies the words of Christ, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." Especially suitable for Catholic auditoriums.
