We've loaded up the greens as much as we can with the systemic fungicides at this time it'll be another month or so down the road before we'll be able to apply anymore they're like a prescription drug an overdose of those will do more damage than good so we're at our limits there right now we have to wait for the weather pattern to hold like it is right now cool low humidity and hope that this continues for several weeks if possible and then we can look at over seeding and replanting the greens the worst ones that are damaged the most. Considering the verbal agreement yesterday what do they feel about right now about that agreement Right now everybody's real happy with it we got a verbal agreement and we've all agreed to stick with it. The only grievance filed so far has been over the work schedule patrolmen say under the contract they are not getting paid for overtime I think the main thing this track meet does is it gives some kids that aren't varsity athletes a chance for a little bit of glory how do you feel it's great I felt that at the beginning those guys looked awful big and older but I felt good after I won John like many others may have a chance of going to the national finals in West Virginia John McCreary news 5 sports and it's another another collecting hobby I guess is it just pride in the cars at showing or pride in the cards as well as the financial advantage when you sell them they seem to go up every year the depreciation is long gone on them and they can't do anything but go up and everybody seems to want to collect something and cars happens to be one of the things in other words it isn't always just large federal loans or large federal grants but it's really a question of mobilizing people in the community to work together to to make these houses decent places in which to live and many other government agencies are administered by salaried employees and therefore the thing I think that we're interested in is to get as much as possible the money spent on actual on the ground I think it was a suggestion from the conservation people that we get into a cooperative program to actually assure that Moyne would not be done on most of the primary road system because in many areas of the state the road system represents the prime cover for pheasants its still quite a quite an honor thats right its a its a I think have you been inconvenienced with the water situation as it is now well not a whole lot because I'm just me but where there is a family where they have small children where they have lots of washing and this type of stuff it is quite an inconvenience I don't see why they have to go through three or four different layers of bureaucracy before it's funded these books are an example of how some LEA funds are used the research books designed to help sheriffs and other police officers and in the state of Iowa five or six almost full-time people put together a 1200 page statewide plan each year under the new system some of that paperwork will be cut out mayor (inaudible) of Ames if this program were simplified down to maybe the additional personnel As you can see the corn in this field is definitely a lot higher than knee high that's because conditions have been near-perfect so far did they get some hay in the [pen?] they got some corn was just laying flat on one [guy's] (inaudible) well we've we were wet early in the spring and then it the conditions got right about the 1st of May and we've had perfect conditions ever since we haven't had any storms and and beans and corn both look very good we've needed the complex for many years and right now the critical thing on our fire department is the one door operation if the first truck would not start we'd have a very difficult time removing it to get the other equipment out last the city offices and such kind of spread it out rather than (inaudible) this is not a good thing in (inaudible) now this is assessed value not market value is
