It's a little bit different. I don't know where, but it's just a little bit different. I think I think it's gonna, we have the same kind of expectations about our offense and that we can have an excellent offense, much like last year, and we hope even improved over that and defensively there are a few more question marks this, this year than there was last year at this same stage of the game because of of injuries that we've had and operations we've had to keep personnel, but if I've been saying, I think we we're gonna have a good defensive football team. How good is going to depend upon how healthy these key players are going to be starting with the with our first game, and if they stay healthy, I think we can make some move with outstanding football players to to be to have a very good defensive team and one that will improve as the season goes along. ...and the power plant has a research project for burning municipal waste in a utility boiler and this has not been a widespread practice, so they have a period of experimentation going on. Everyone- the city, the University, and these protesters agree that there is a housing shortage in Ames. The disagreement comes on how to solve the problem, but even when an ultimate solution is reached, one thing is certain- given the cost of housing and the time it takes to build it, the problem in Ames will probably get worse before it gets better. This is Kirk Winkler reporting for Newswatch. Injuries are always very important to any football team. I think as we saw at Iowa State last year. Iowa State had a good football team and they had some bad injuries to keep people, and you just can't win if that happens, so we're keeping our fingers crossed on injuries and we're trying to take it as easy as we can and still get some work done, and then of course I think also breaks. Oklahoma had a great football team last year and yet Colorado missed an extra point, Missouri missed an extra point, and and that put them in the Orange Bowl, and that's the Fiesta bowl, and either one of those extra points would have reversed the roles, you know, so you got to have some good things happen and you gotta have a good team and so we're gonna do the best we can... The problem is that a small proportion of customers makes unduly large number of calls to directory assistance. For example, about 10 percent of of our customers make about half the calls to directory assistance and about 20 percent of them are making about 80 percent of the calls. Five years ago, one of these was standard equipment for an incoming freshman at Iowa State University, but that's not the case anymore I feel just as good going into this season. I have a good feel for this club. I think maybe in some ways we're a little better ball in balance ball club. I've got a little bit of feel for a defense issue and we didn't where we had last year offensively maybe we're not quite as good yet but I think in time that we can be a pretty effective offense. You think you're on the schedule you'd like and battling the Oklahomas and the Nebraskas at this point? I'm getting into the league race, how do you feel about that? Well, let's hope, you know I, you know I just hope that we'll continually improve, certainly take off from last year and show some improvement this year and and really be in the thick of things with both these clubs, but you know there's other teams in the in this conference - I have a lot of respect for so when it's not pointing towards the Oklahoma Nebraska we just have to take each one on one at a time. About 170,000 persons registered to vote in polk county alone. One reason for that figure is the fact that voter registration is a lot easier this year. A retired person, (inaudible),  he has a list of big places where he plants these, so that he can (inaudible) that at that time, so we've tried to police pretty closely. So can you still register to vote in per... (inaudible)? About the only place we didn't put them... (Inaudible) Use of these postcards is has I would say, quadrupled the work of the office for this time of the year.
