Description: Wing Commander Tim Mason (Dirk Bogarde) is nearing the end of his third tour of operations. He has flown nearly 90 missions over Germany. Mason is banned from further flying, but rescues one of his crews from a possible failure. Mason intervenes in order to turn a German raid from a probable a failure to a success. Mason receives an award from King George VI.
