Produced by the University of California. Shows horse breeding as a career, types including Thoroughbred, Hackney, Shetland, Clydesdales, Percheron, Shire and Belgium. Also the typical American breeds: The Morgan, Standard bred, Quarter horse, Tennessee walking horse, Hunter, Palomino, Pinto and Appaloosa. Horses are shown in the fields, on the road, racing, in polo games, shows and in leisure riding. Wild horses are broken at a rodeo. Closing scene consists of a series of shots of heads of horses.
