Description: Musical background, no narration. Shows an average day in the life of the Seringueiro or rubber gatherer in the Cabaceras Mati region of the Bolivian Amazon. Tells how he gathers the raw latex up after tapping the trees and smokes the latex into large rubber balls at home with the help of the family. Shows him eating with his family, dancing at the village festival and delivering the completed rubber balls to the company store and waiting river steamer.
