A Holiday in England, 1928 - Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Salisbury | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Take a trip across southern England to view landmark destinations in this 1928 silent home movie (soundtrack added). Begins outside of Eton College, before exploring around the grounds around Windsor Castle. Then, head on over to Salisbury with the High Street Gate and famous Salisbury Cathedral, before traveling back a couple millennia to Stonehenge when you could get right up to the stones! Begins to wind to a close as they head to Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Garden, then taking a quick detour for Warwick before they visit the birthplace of Shakespeare. Film finishes off with some still shots of postcards/photographs.
