A Hike through Yellowstone, 1937 - Restored Kodachrome Footage | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Hop in your Packard and onto the highway, off to Yellowstone National Park! See the beautiful geysers, landscapes, falls, and some (dangerous!) fun with the local bears. Filmed by coal magnate Russel L. Kelce. Being early 1937 Kodachrome, this film was basically entirely red/magenta faded. Did what I could to bring the color out of it, some scenes and stock faired better than others. Film also had a good amount of pitting, unfortunately. *Contact regarding usage* 0:00 Castle Geyser 0:24 Tortoise Shell Spring 1:41 Giant Geyser 2:37 Brilliant Pool 2:48 Splendid Geyser Crater 2:54 Punch Bowl Spring 3:28 Sunset Lake 5:10 Fountain Paint Pot 5:59 Old Faithful Geyser 7:12 Old Faithful Inn 7:39 Kepler Cascades 7:48 In the Woods 7:59 Bears up Close 9:21 Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone 10:08 Bear Feeding Grounds 11:13 Tower Falls Soundtrack Added, Songs Licensed from Epidemic Sound: Aqua Sonitus - JF Gloss Brown Plains - Johan Glossner Into the Mighty - JF Gloss Canyon Dreamscape - Lennon Hutton #Yellowstone #Kodachrome #16mmFilm #VintageTravel #ArchivalFootage #YellowstoneNationalPark #OldFaithful #Geysers #GrandCanyonOfYellowstone #VintageFilm #RetroTravelogue #1937 #WildlifeFootage #1930s
