1950 Visit to Santa's Workshop at North Pole, New York | 16mm Film Scan

Description: Home movie footage from a visit to the original Santa's Workshop & "North Pole" up by Lake Placid New York. My estimate is this is from around 1950, perhaps an expert could chime in if they see anything that could more directly date it. Film finishes off with a snowy shot of what must be the family home. Unfortunately was shot on Anscochrome, which fades quite severely and really doesn't hold up well in general - also no date code. I improved it as I could, but not a whole lot of color was left; the film also had a lot of 'staining'. Had to apply noise reduction as well, since the strong grain of this film was severely hampering quality on Youtube. As this is an 'orphaned' film from the 1950s, this video is not monetized. Available for historical reference and your enjoyment.
