Description: A seemingly once-lost silent promotional film for the 1928 presidential campaign of Herbert Hoover. He was nominated at the Republic National Convention in Kansas City on June 14 of 1928, so this film would date sometime between then and the election. Vice president Charles Curtis (the first and only Native American V.P.) is also in the film, seen with members of the Kaw Nation in Oklahoma. In my preliminary research I was unable to find anything that indicated when that was. Also shown in the film are their family, as well as brief scenes of Teddy Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, and GOP Chairman Hubert Work.
