Der Kurzfilm handelt von einem Jungen, der sich die Beachtung seiner Mitschüler durch teure Gegenstände erkaufen will, die er sich nicht leisten kann. Er geht ins Kaufhaus und lässt einmal einen Tischtennisschläger, das andere Mal eine Schallplatte der Bay City Rollers mitgehen. Bei dem zweiten Diebstahl wird er erwischt.
The short film is about a boy who wants to buy the attention of his classmates by means of expensive objects that he cannot afford. He goes to the department store and steals a table tennis racket and a record of the Bay City Rollers. He is caught during the second theft.
