The film begins with the outwardly noticeable changes in shape, points out the development of glandular activity, gives advice for protection against acne and recommends for the pubescent girls a diet as varied as possible, plenty of exercise in nature and sufficient sleep. The pituitary gland is responsible for the development of the girl into a woman. It awakens the hormone production for the development of the sexual organs. The development of the internal sex organs, the process of menstruation are explained with cartoons. It also shows what the girl needs to know about the male sexual organs and about the fertilization process. 'Girl to Woman' was produced for teenagers and for parents and educators.
