Der Dokumentarfilm stellt uns die Mitglieder von zwei Arbeiterfamilien in Wolgograd in ihrem alltäglichen Leben vor. Familie Sacharow: Traktorenwerk, Mantelkauf, Schule, Schulbeirat, Pionierversammlung, Wohnblocks, Wohnung. Familie Sadchikow: Fabrik, Kantine, Frauenarbeit, Gesundheitsfürsorge, Polytechnikum, Komsomolzen. Unterstützt vom Kommentar gibt der Film ein lebendiges Bild vom Leben der Menschen in der Sowjetunion.
The documentary introduces us to the members of two working-class families in Volgograd and their daily lives. The Zakharov family: the tractor factory, buying a coat, school, the school board, a Pioneer meeting, apartment buildings, their apartment. The Sadchikov family: factory, cafeteria, women's work, healthcare, polytechnic, Komsomol members. Accompanied by narration, the film paints a vivid picture of life in the Soviet Union.
