Description: 16mm Film - Lausbubenstreiche + Jetzt platzt die Rakete - F/I~1911 Trotz der deutschen Titel handelt es sich um zwei frühe Stummfilme aus französischer und italienischer Produktion. Beim zweiten der beiden Filme handelt es sich um einen Ausschnitt aus "Gli Effeti di un Razzo" (Itala Film, Turin, 1911): A man with a rocket in his coat-tails causes havoc. A man and his wife are talking in their house, his wife appears unhappy with her husband's coat, and much to his delight, she presents him with a box in which is a smart new coat. The man tries on the coat, admires himself, and leaves the room. Four boys are playing outdoors. They are letting off a rocket placed on a bench, they watch it, then re-light another. The man arrives and sits down on the bench next to the rocket, he is reading a paper. The boys appear irked that their fun has been interrupted. They have an idea. They creep back to the bench and place the rocket under the coat tails of the man, and then light it. A loving couple walk in front of the bench. There is an explosion in the mans coat and he is propelled forwards through the young couple. The momentum carries him down the road. He runs head-on into a car, and propelled by the rocket he forces the car to go backwards, he pushes it round in a circle and it eventually crashes into the Drogheria (Grocers). In the road three surveyors are at work, the man still can not stop and crashes into them, knocking over their equipment. They chase after him. He continues and runs into a young couple and a man with a basket on his head, they also join the chase. He reaches a wall, yet the rocket in his coat forces him through it and into a furniture shop, where he creates havoc. The customers take up the chase and follow him into a sculptor's studio, where he smashes several busts and statues. Still pursued he runs down the road and swings round a lamppost until it comes out of the ground. The chase continues. Circling now due to the momentum from the lamppost, the group whirls down the road and into a lake. They swirl round the lake and the rocket explodes. All the people are thrown into the sky and land through a roof into the house of the infortunate man, into the very room in which the film started.
