Bei dem Versuch der Eltern, das Autostoppen der Tochter damit zu verhindern, dass sie Angst und Sorge äußern und damit an das Kind zu appellieren, doch Mitleid mit den Eltern zu haben, handelt es sich um eine kleinere Form der Erpressung. Extremer ist es, wenn die Mutter ihrem nicht essenden Kind sagt, sie werde es nicht mehr liebhaben.
The parents' attempt to prevent their daughter's hitchhiking by expressing fear and concern and thus appealing to the child to have pity on the parents after all is a minor form of blackmail. It is more extreme when the mother tells her non-eating child that she will no longer love him.
