Der Film beginnt im Kindergarten mit einer Montagssituation, bei der Kinder über das vergangene Wochenende berichten. In einer authentischen Präsentation wird dann ein verregnetes Wochenende in der Familie zweier Kinder gezeigt, das ganz von der Berufssituation der Eltern, dem Haushalt und dem Ruhebedürfnis geprägt ist. Ungeduldig warten die Kinder auf den Moment, wo Vater und Mutter für sie Zeit haben. Sie streiten, haben Langeweile, schauen sehnsüchtig aus dem Fenster, stören den Mittagsschlaf der Mutter und warten auf einen Spaziergang.
The film begins in the kindergarten with a Monday situation in which children report on the past weekend. Then, in an authentic presentation, a rainy weekend in the family of two children is shown, which is completely shaped by the parents' job situation, the household and the need for rest. Impatiently, the children wait for the moment when father and mother have time for them. They argue, are bored, look longingly out of the window, disturb the mother's nap and wait for a walk.
