Description: 16mm Film - The Lost Sheep - Sweden 1969 Script and Direction: Per Söderberg The film was shot by Per Söderberg in the Western Sahara. Ibrahim is a 12-year-old boy who already has to work hard as a shepherd. He tends many sheep, for which he is responsible. He has named the smallest of them Jonathan. It is a small white lamb, but Jonathan is also very curious about his surroundings and there is so much to see in the desert. He cannot keep up with the other sheep and is suddenly all alone, not knowing where the rest of the flock is. When Ibrahim discovers that Jonathan has disappeared, he immediately starts searching for him. He searches everywhere — among the dunes and in the small town. He sees many other animals — but Jonathan is nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, there is also a sandstorm. Finally Ibrahim finds his little lamb again.
