16mm Film - The Rrrr - Play School - BRD 1969
Script and Direction: Harald Hohenacker
Camera: Theo Huster
Music: Improved Sound Ltd.
Cast: Angelika Pingel, Joschi Kuén, Heinz Redmann
When Joschi, Krautkopf and Pingeline appear on screen in Munich's educational program, the little ones in Bavaria cheer. For months, the three have been demonstrating what most children are forbidden to do at home: stomping in puddles with their shoes, digging in mud, stuffing food into their mouths with their fingers and swearing: "Dammit, you pig." Now they are also luring three- to seven-year-olds outside the blue and white border to the TV: From July 1970, Munich's "Play School" will be broadcast nationwide on the ARD program every Sunday from 11:00 to 11:30. At this time, according to the pollsters from Infratest, 28 percent of all TV viewers will be reached. Above all, fathers will then have plenty of leisure time to answer the TV-provoked questions of their little ones.
