In einem unbeobachteten Moment stiehlt der verrückte Geist Fitzliputz den Schatz und versteckt ihn im Zauberwald. Zum Glück hat der sprechende Rabe Ralf alles gesehen und informiert Kasper Kunterbunt. Dieser macht sich gemeinsam mit seinem Freund Jimmy auf den Weg zum verzauberten Wald. Der hinterlistige Fitzliputz beobachtet die beiden Freunde in seinem Zauberspiegel und will sie in eine Falle locken, indem er den schlafenden großen Bären aufweckt. Kasper Kunterbunt wird aber rechtzeitig von einem putzigen Waldkobold gewarnt, der ihm das Bärenlied beibringen möchte, das Kasper und Jimmy vor dem Raubtier schützen soll. Das Puppenspiel 'Das Kinderschiff', geschrieben und gespielt vom 'Heidekasper' Walter Büttner, wurde in dieser englischsprachigen Version in den 60er Jahren auch im kanadischen Fernsehen ausgestrahlt. Walter Büttner drehte von den 50er bis in die 70er Jahre hinein neben seiner Theaterarbeit 18 Handpuppenfilme. Die Szenenbilder waren hinter der 12m langen Spielleiste in 4m Bühnentiefe im Studio aufgereiht, sodass dem Einzelspieler Walter Büttner eine ruhige Handpuppenführung ohne Unterbrechungen bei den unterschiedlichsten Kameraeinstellungen möglich war. Viele interessante Fernsehsendungen sind verloren, weil die Aufnahmeverfahren noch nicht so weit waren, Speichern nicht als wichtig angesehen wurde und dem Kinderprogramm nicht so viel Qualität und Bedeutung zugeschrieben wurde, dass man es aufbewahren wollte. Kasper Kunterbunt convinces the rich merchant Mr. Goldenschoe to use his treasure of gold and silver to buy a ship with which they both could sail across the seas to the poor children who have no food and no clothes. In an unobserved moment, the wicked spirit Fitzliputz steals the treasure and hides it in the magic forest. Fortunately, the talking raven Rolf saw everything and informed Kasper Kunterbunt. Together with his friend Jimmy, he makes his way to the enchanted forest. The insidious Fitzliputz observes the two friends in his magic mirror and wants to lure them into a trap by waking up the sleeping big bear. However, Kasper Kunterbunt is warned in time by a cute forest goblin who wants to teach him the bear song that is supposed to protect Kasper and Jimmy from the predator. The puppet show 'Das Kinderschiff', written and performed by 'Heidekasper' Walter Büttner, was also broadcast on Canadian television in this English-language version in the 1960s. In addition to his theater work, Walter Büttner made 18 hand puppet films from the 1950s to the 1970s. The scene images were lined up in the studio behind the 12m long play bar at a stage depth of 4m, so that the solo player Walter Büttner was able to perform a smooth hand puppet tour without interruptions with the most diverse camera angles. Many interesting television shows have been lost because recording techniques were not advanced, storage was not considered important, and children's programs was not given enough respect to be preserved.

who are you i'm the rich merchant golden shoe richard i can buy everything else i wish what i want i can buy but i'm not happy in spite of that i just don't know what to do with all my money i could tell you then tell me look mr goldenshield in this white world there are so many people who can't be happy there are children who are hungry and have as many proper clothes to wear oh i haven't thought of that well you should have thought of that and if you just take a bit of your huge store of money we can go when the children can't be happy and we can take them things to eat and all kinds of things yes of course casper we'll do it that's a wonderful idea then my symbol and my gold will do something useful mr golden shoe i've got an even better idea we'll have a big shipment a really big childrenship and then we'll sail to wherever the children can't be happy and we'll let the children come onto our childrenship and we'll have wonderful voyages and parties splendid marvelous magnificent you do it meeting people helping people that's happiness come on casper let's go over there where they build the ships we'll choose the one we want and then we'll buy it wonderful with the golden shoe then that'll be our children's [Music] will all one two three fly to the magic forest with and i will stay with the chest shall i just [Music] you were where have you been and what have you seen ralph the raven has heard and seen everything i hope you've seen and has looked at all the silver and gold again the wicked fitzlie woods used a to the magic forest now we'll never get our children's just there [Music] look jimmy this chest was full of gold and silver and they all belonged to the virtual ruined shoe somebody was going to buy a beautiful ship with it and then we were going to say wherever there were hungry children and we were going to give them all something nice to eat if i can be of any element by the outfit you come along it's no good jimmy it's no good you see there's a wicked spirit that's come from the magic forest and empty the chest ralph the ravens saw the two of us will go to the magic forest find this wicked spirit and then we'll just take the gold and the silver away from him so we'll be able to buy the children that's a marvelous idea jimmy it's all quite simple simple things are always the best come on guys wait jimmy our white merchant will even show a note so you'll know where we are now then all right we are in the magic ghost i'll leave the loop here now let's dougie yes let's go ah [Music] yee [Music] i don't think you will no no no no the great big bear have slept a hundred years so it appears and he locks everyone in but he can't always win the bear song is what casper must sing then back to mr golden shoe golden silver he can bring jimmy you have a look over the mountain well i don't know these rocks don't go any further till you've learnt the bear song oh you did give me shock what's so bad but who are you and why should i know the bear song i am cobalt smithy why should i learn the damn song because of featslive but that's the wicked spirit i'm looking for he's the one who stole the dominant silver i know i know and you want to get it back again you want to take it to merchant golden shoe buy the children ship and sail out into the world fixly woods is waking up the great big bear and he'll knock you in that's why you must learn the bear song come now come with me back then no one can hear us and there i'm teaching the bear come you must learn with their songs these are weak and in a terrible temper
