16mm Film - Christian's Journey - BRD 1981
Script and Direction: Gloria Behrens
Camera: Michael Teutsch
Cast: Xulio Lago, and others.
Christian grows up with his German mother in a German city and now, as a 12-year-old, is visiting his father, a former guest worker who has been living back in his Spanish homeland for eight years — as an independent fisherman. Everything is initially unfamiliar to Christian: the simple village by the sea, the people and their way of life, the language, his father. The film traces this encounter: how does Christian find his way in this unfamiliar world?
