Blind children explore nature, feeling plants and animals. They later process their experiences in engraved images. The commentary is an account of the experiences of the French writer Jacques Lusseyran, who lost his sight as a child. The accompanying music was composed by the blind Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo.
