He speaks German well. Since his father works for the German Federal Railway, the family can regularly visit relatives in Torre Santa Susanna near Brindisi once or twice a year. This causes serious problems for Antonio... The film is set in the summer of 1974. Five years later, Antonio is back living in Torre Santa Susanna and attending 9th grade at a Catholic school. Now he travels to Germany every summer to be with his father during the holidays.
