School ends at the Sophie Scholl Grammar School in Munich: The girls make plans to go to the fairground. But they don't want to take Anne along. Sad, she goes home and prepares her meal. The sounds of fair music drift into the kitchen. When she opens a cupboard door, a money tin falls to the floor. Anne picks up the scattered coins, but keeps some of them. The next shots show her at the fairground looking for her classmates. When she finally spots two girls, she rushes over to her companions and gives them sweets. They accept them, say 'Thank you', but otherwise pay her no more attention. Anne then buys tokens for the bumper cars and distributes them. But even this fails to break down the dismissive attitude of the other girls. The last scene takes place in the classroom again. Fragments of conversation can be heard: 'We shouldn't have taken anything from her. It was definitely stolen!' etc... Anne stays alone.
